Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission Member Gilbert Simanjuntak expressed his support for the government's efforts in integrating mass transit payments in Greater Jakarta area through the establishment of a joint venture company, PT. Jak Lingko Indonesia.
According to him, collaboration between BUMN Ministry and Transportation Ministry, as well as BUMDs (Transjakarta, MRT and LRT) would facilitate the public to ride public transport with one ticket and one fare.

After passing through a signing of the inter-mode payment system integration payment shareholder agreement on Wednesday (7/15), he furthered, the city administration should conduct a comprehensive evaluation on BUMDs engaged in transportation. Including the preparation of city's transportation facilities and infrastructure.
"What is needed now is integrated transportation. Hopefully they (city administration) remain focused on this matter thus it can be realized soon," he concluded.
